Things To Do
Abel Tasman Activities
The Abel Tasman is equally suited to an outdoor adventure as it is to a relaxing beachside holiday. Keen walkers will find the Coastal Track one of the most scenic routes imaginable as they meander past a succession of tree-fringed, golden-sand beaches. With its array of tidal inlets, offshore islands and interesting granite rock formations, the Abel Tasman coastline is also perfect for exploration by sea kayak.
If it’s more of an adrenaline fix you’re after then you will not find a better location for skydiving or canyoning.

Locals Tip
“I may be biased but kayaking through the Abel Tasman is a totally awesome experience. For the best local stories, go guided and see the park through a local’s eyes.”
