The Abel Tasman is the only coastally located national park in New Zealand. The well-formed, gently undulating track flows along the coastline offering breathtaking views down to lush forest fringed golden-sand beaches. The Coastal Track can be enjoyed as a half-day, full-day or multi-day hiking adventure. The Abel Tasman Coastline is dotted with Department of Conservation campsites and huts for those on multi-day hikes.

“Being a keen runner means I often use water taxis from Marahau to get me up into the Park, but when I’m with the family we pick a package with a walk duration that keeps everyone happy! Beaches & Bays is my go to walking trip!”
